Printing Instructions

*Please note that printer performance varies. These instructions are intended as a general starting point; however, additional test prints may be required depending on your specific printer model.

Step 1: Download the File(s)

  • Please check your email for your files (check spam if you are having trouble finding it) and ensure you’ve successfully downloaded the PDF file. Save it to an easily accessible location on your device.

Step 2: Open the File(s)

  • Open the file using a PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader (free to download). This ensures proper formatting and scaling.

Step 3: Printer Settings

  • Go to File > Print and adjust the following settings:

    • Paper Size: For best results set your printer to a paper size of US Letter OR A4.

    • Scaling: Select "Actual Size" or "100% Scale" to prevent resizing.

    • Orientation: I find that printing smaller inserts works best in Portrait orientation but feel free to use what works best for your printer settings.

    • Double Siding: If printing multiple pages, start by printing all odd-numbered pages first on SINGLE SIDED PRINTING ONLY. Once all odd-numbered pages are printed take them out, rearrange order if needed, and manually feed back into your printer paper tray (each printer is different, so it is recommended to do some test prints first). Once paper(s) have been put back into tray, repeat above steps and then choose all even-numbered pages on SINGLE SIDED printing only.

    • Quality: Choose high-quality and correct paper type in printer settings for best print quality.

Step 4: Test Print

  • Print a test page(s) on standard paper to check alignment and scaling before using your final paper.

Step 5: Final Print

  • Once satisfied with the test print(s), load the desired paper into your printer and print the final version(s).

  • Enjoy your new inserts!
